1978 was a BIG year for Corvette! Not only was it the car’s 25th Anniversary, but it was also chosen to pace the Indy 500. Our 1978 Corvette here has just 34,000 actual, original miles and is completely original. Still wearing its original code 89 Dark Brown Paint with Beige Leather Interior. Optioned with code A31 Power Windows. AU3 Power Door Locks. C49 Rear Window Defogger. C60 Air Conditioning. D35 Sport Mirrors. K30 Cruise Control. MX1 Automatic Transmission. N37 Tilt/Tele Steering Column. UP6 AM/FM Stereo with CB. U75 Power Antenna. U81 Dual Speakers. YJ8 Aluminum Wheels. As you can see, this is a pretty highly optioned Corvette. Never wrecked or damaged. The original paint is just starting to show its age, with a few areas getting thin, but it still shines and looks great overall. Just completely serviced and tuned, this car runs and drives great. Lots of original paperwork remain. Corvettes of this era with ultralow miles are really getting hard to find. A lot of car for the money.
