One of the most Iconic Muscle Cars in History would be the ........? Depending on who you ask, you will get plenty of answers. Everyone has their favorite. Ask a Mopar guy, he might just say a HEMI Roadrunner. Our 1968 Roadrunner is pretty well known car in the Chrysler world. The car was built on November 28, 1967 at the St. Louis Assembly Plant and delivered to Lloyd Motors Inc. in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. The first owner Loved this car and kept it until 1983. The history is a bit fuzzy until 1993 when the car was discovered in New York. Fulfilling a life long dream of 68 HEMI Roadrunner ownership, the new owner had the car delivered straight to a restoration shop to undergo a full scale rotisserie restoration. The restoration was done to exactly the condition it was built originally. The original transmission was built by Larry Shepard at "Hemi's only" . The only addition was the Magnum 500 wheels. Original options would include code 73: 426 CID. Engine 2-4 BBL Dual Exhaust. Code 306: Vinyl Roof (Black). Code 395: Torqueflight Transmission. Code 408 Sure-Grip Differential. Code 421: AM Radio. Code 426: Rear Seat Speaker. Code 45: Red Streak Tires. Galen Govier personally validated this car and this is the original matching number engine. This car has been featured in the book "50 years of Chryslers Best Cars" and a 1996 Calendar car. Two previous owners are very well known Mopar collectors. A copy of the original window sticker. The original Broadcast Sheet accompany the car along with HUNDREDS od restoration photographs. This is a Blue Chip Quality Investment Automobile. $119.995.00
