Originally built to be an economy car, the Rambler American proved to be just that. A very inexpensive transportation car for those on a budget. The little car was also popular with hot rodders later on. Our 1968 Rambler American has just 23,000 actual, original miles. The history is a bit sketchy but the story is that a older lady in upstate New York bought the car new and owned it until about ten or so years ago. The second owner had a few cars when he acquired this car and never really did anything with it. Rally Sport Classics bought the car a few months ago and got it up on it’s feet again. The car is all original but has had a bit of paint touch-up through the years. The option list is as follows: Automatic transmission and cloth seats……..That’s it! Manual steering, manual brakes, radio delete. The interior is all original and is amazing. The car starts right up and runs like a swiss watch. drop it in drive and it just runs right down the road. This little car is so much fun to drive. This car is ready to drive as is or is a great candidate for a SCrambler clone. Finding these little Americans today in this condition and with these miles is nearly impossible. $17,995.00
