On April 25, 1967 Ruth Garster drove her 1960 Chevy to Ewing Chevrolet in Canton Ohio and traded it in on a brand new 1967 Chevelle 300 Deluxe, two door sedan.
Ruth was certainly not a flashy person as she bought the cheapest Chevelle available. The option list was pretty short. Power glide, automatic transmission and floor mats. Ruth only put 18K miles on the little 300 Deluxe in 20 years. When owner number two purchased it in 1987.
Larry was still in high school when he saw the car sitting Ruth's yard with a "for sale" sign in the window. 32 years only added 15K miles to this car until Rally Sport Classics took possession in 2019.
Our little 300 Deluxe has an original build date of second week of March 1967 at the Baltimore, Maryland assembly plant. Still wearing most of it's original code DD Nantucket Blue paint, with trim code 726 Blue cloth interior.
Still powered by the original 230 cubic inch six cylinder motor with 140 HP. Power glide transmission and 3.08 rear axle. The Chevelle is documented with it's original Protect-O-Plate, bill of sale, owners manual, original insurance papers, all in the original plastic envelope. The car has retained just about all of us it's "born with components." Original black-wall spare still resides in the trunk. All original interior, including radio delete plate and original floor mats. The car runs and drives just as tight as it did the day Ruth took delivery in April 1967.
A true unmolested, documented 1967 post Chevelle.

Dual sport electric remote mirrors, air-conditioning, cruise control, remote rear-hatch release, fog lamps, power door locks, power window, leather wrapped steering wheel, remote keyless entry, 16 inch aluminum wheels with locks and body side moldings. Only 12K miles have been accumulated and it's always been stored properly. This Camaro has never even seen rain. Sliding behind the wheel, the car still smells new.
